Crochet an Easy Scarf

Amanda Jane

With chilly days on the way, crochet this pretty scarf for yourself or as a gift.

With double knitting weight yarn and a size 4mm crochet hook, crochet 150 stitches.

The scarf is worked backwards and forwards in rows and joined when it reaches the width you like. For individual videos of crochet stitches, see this playlist: PLAYLIST OF STITCHES

INSTRUCTIONS: (US crochet instructions)

Chain 150 or the length you prefer.

Row 1: Work one row of double crochet.

Row 2: Half double crochet

Row 3: Cluster stitch, chain 1 row.

Row 4: Alternate half double crochet and front post half double crochet

Row 5 on: repeat Row 1, Row 3 and Row 4

Finish with Row 1 and then do 1 row of slip stitches to stabilise the project.
