Crochet Candy Stripe Christmas Wreath

A super-quick to crochet for beginners spiral which turns into this cute festive decoration for your tree.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Using Aran or worsted weight yarn, chain 30 using 5mm crochet hook.

3 single crochet in the 2nd chain from the hook and in each chain to the end.

Encourage the twist as you go. Fasten off leaving a tail of about 4 ins.

Make 2 in different colours.

Holding the ends together twist one spiral around the other.

Fold in half and using the tail ends join one spiral together. Then wrap the other spiral around and join leaving enough yarn to create a hanging loop.

You can make these using different weight yarn and the respective crochet hook. Adjust the number of stitches. Make them on the small side as if the chain is too long the wreath won't hold its circular shape.
